SXSW

SXSW or South by South West is the annual 10-day mashup festival held in Austin in early March that covers music, interactive media, film, and businesses. 

Perfect for a dose of nightlife, SXSW is one of the biggest music festivals in the US with over 2,000 artists from 65 countries that perform numerous genres, including punk, rock, hip hop, metal, electronic, and indie music. 

Ultra Miami

Ultra Miami runs for 3 days in late March. While Ultra is being celebrated in most major cities all over the world, this festival was held for the first time in Miami in 1999.

During summer, around 150,000 fans of electronic music gather at downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park to catch globally renowned DJs. This is where you can expect lots of wild crowds, heart-thumping music, and booze to the wee hours of the morning of this music festival held over the weekends. 

Coachella

Best Music Festivals in the US

Since 1999, the iconic Coachella has never failed to attract large crowds of music fans to Indio’s Empire Polo Club. Some of the past headliners of this festival include famous artists including Paul McCartney, Radiohead, and Beyonce. If you are lucky, you might even spot some of your favorite Hollywood celebrities and elites going for a day stroll on the grounds. 

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival

Brace yourself to enjoy an exciting selection of world music, gospel, blues, and jazz over the course of two weekends at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Also known as Jazz Fest, this yearly showcase is held at central New Orleans’ Fair Grounds Race Course. Governors Ball

Thousands of traveling festivalgoers and New Yorkers get their fill of entertainment at the Governors Ball with music concerts, outdoor games, art demonstrations, and food trucks at the Island Park in Randall. This weekend-long event that originally started in 2011 has already seen several big names through the years. 

Bonnaroo

Bonnaroo held at Great Stage Park has over 10 stages with an amazing lineup of more than 150 musicians from different parts of the world. You get 4 days of enjoying any music genre at this festival held every year, including rock, pop, bluegrass, reggae, jazz, Americana, and gospel. 

Lollapalooza

Lollapalooza Festival is held in August where you can watch popular alternative bands as they perform live music all weekend long in Chicago. This event that takes place in Grant Park features 8 concert stages and more than 170 artists that perform punk, alternative rock, hip hop, rock, and electronic music.
