RECYCLED PRECIOUS METALS
Part of this commitment is a responsible sourcing of raw materials: they only work with recycled metal and use only conflict-free diamonds.
Using existing gold, platinum and silver has no environmental impact and these recycled materials are identical in quality to newly mined metals.
Fairtrade Gold is the world’s first independent ethical certification system for gold. The Fairtrade Gold Standards include strict requirements on working conditions, health and safety, handling chemicals, women’s rights, child labour and protection of the environment.
Niza Huang offers the option of Fairtrade gold and encourage bespoke clients whenever possible to use it. This does incur a very modest additional charge over regular metals, which they do not profit from, but is instead passed on to help improve practices at Fairtrade mines. To ensure the traceability of the Fairtrade gold, each piece is marked with the Fairtrade Gold Stamp at the London Assay Office.
