Designed in authentic Polynesian architectural style, Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa is situated on a beautiful islet of the archipelago of the Society Islands. This coral sand island is a five-minute-boat ride away from Taha’a island, famous for its lush vanilla plantations and its black pearl farms. Idyllic, intimate and wonderfully preserved, the thatched huts on stilts of this retreat are in the heart of a natural setting of fascinating beauty, where an enchanting vanilla fragrance and the scents of lush tropical vegetation fill the air. The lagoon has crystal-clear waters and splendid colours and there is an exceptional coral garden.

The Owners’ wish was to keep the resort as natural and as green as possible. The whole resort was built around the existing vegetation. You will discover beautiful old trees, colorful flowers and plants, something quite unusual on a “motu”, thanks to the use of seaweed as fertilizers.
You will see no club cars travelling around the property. The setting is all harmony with nature.

Amenities include 1 fine dining and 2 casual restaurants. There’s also a spa and an outdoor pool with a swim-up bar. A tennis court, a gym and a free island shuttle are on-site.

ACCOMMODATION

All suites and villas at Le Taha’a are built in the pure Polynesian tradition, exquisitely blending thatched pandanus roofs, bamboo, exotic woods, stones, corals, Marquesan “tapa” cloths, and woven coconut “nape” ropes. Whether on the beach or above the shimmering lagoon, you will enjoy the idyllic surroundings and the tropical outdoor lifestyle Le Taha’a offers. Refined elegance and bare luxury.

The Overwater Suites all have the same layout, the difference being the location, the views, and the amenities. One main point for all though is the unsurpassed views of the sparkling lagoon, kaleidoscope of blues.

The Beach Villas (and the Royal Beach Villas) could be considered our Signature accommodations! Totally blended in the islet’s environment, the Beach Villas open onto the white sand beach and the turquoise lagoon. They offer one bedroom and a separate living area with their own plunge pool, thatched roof cabana and tropical garden. There is also an outside bathtub and shower to fully enjoy the starlit skies of the Tahitian islands.

The Royal Beach Villas are amazing units boasting 2 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, as well as 2 outside bathtubs and showers. They also feature a plunge pool and thatched roof gazebo set in a private tropical garden to enjoy the islands’ way of life at its best: the outdoors! Those villas are ideal for families or friends wishing to stay close.
