Aman Group has dominated the luxury wellness space since opening in 1988 with exclusive wellness resorts in unique locations around the globe, and the new skincare venture pays homage to that with a collection of 30 specially formulated creams, oils and ointments using precious and rare ingredients from Aman’s luxe destinations.
The collection includes face creams and serums, face masks, body oils and milk baths, all designed to hydrate, refresh and uplift, and the packaging is designed by architect Kengo Kuma.
“Aman has always delivered a transforming and holistic spa experiences” says Vladislav Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman, “Creating a range of bespoke skincare products was a natural step in our evolution and is born of many years’ experience and research.”
On the unique destinations the ingredients and inspirations came from, Mr Doronin says: “Each Aman is inherently connected to its location and situated in an outstanding, otherworldly and spiritual setting. It was from these varying landscapes that we drew inspiration and sourced the purest natural and organic ingredients.”
The collection utilises pearls, homoeopathic metals, healing tree oils, amethyst, jade, frankincense and palo santo, in addition to using alkalising, oxygen-rich spring water and rainforest muds.
The unifying ingredient pulling together the Aman Skincare collection is sandalwood, a precious healing oil that has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic practices.
To complement the skincare range, Aman has also unveiled a new Spa Signature Menu, available at every Aman, which incorporates the three holistic pathways represented in the collection, Grounding, Purifying and Nourishing.
The three collections are inspired by the resort’s stunning locations, all featuring face, body, and bath products.
GROUNDING
From the mountain and desert destinations, the “Grounding” is designed to soothe restlessness and stress brought on by our fast-paced modern lifestyles.
It includes a “Smoked Body Butter” made with wild Amazonian butters to quench dry, thirsty skin and a “Desert Dew Face Mist” infused with rose and homeopathic colloidal silver to hydrate and boost cell recovery.
NOURISHING
The “Nourishing” products nurture your skin and soul alike, and are perfect for anyone who needs to reconnect with themselves.
Inspired by the lush green jungles surrounding many Aman resorts, the “Jade Mask Concentrate” is made with jade, gold, honey, and raw royal jelly to deeply nourish and hydrate skin while tackling signs of aging.
Alongside is a “Coconut Milk Bath” to help you bathe your way to sweet-smelling indulgence that helps re-energize the body and mind.
PURIFYING
Ocean and seas inspired the “Purifying” range that uses marine-inspired ingredients to help ease restlessness and aid detoxification.
The “Marine Facial Wash” gives skin a refreshing boost and is loaded with anti-aging seaweed extract to rejuvenate and refresh, while the “Auric Cleanse Bath Salts” are infused with 84 essential minerals and trace elements to ease tension and weary limbs.
