The Standard, Ibiza, Spain

It was the most anticipated opening on the White Island. In the heart of the Old Town, a few steps from the waterfront along the pedestrian Vara de Rey, The Standard, Ibiza opens this spring: 53 rooms and suites, with bright, eclectic furnishings, in a clean, all-white building, plus an independent private residence, Casa Privada. The rooftop pool and restaurant are prime vantage points for views of Ibiza Castle. The project is by acclaimed Spanish architect and designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, with interiors designed by The Standard’s in-house design team and Oskar Kohnen. The design celebrates the energy of the island with the chic atmosphere of the 1960s. It has a total of 67 rooms and suites. Restaurant and rooftop remain open until the wee hours of the morning. The rooftop poolside bar provides unsurpassed views, the same views that have also made the group famous in Los Angeles, New York and London. In a separate building, Casa Privada, equipped with a private pool, bar, gym, lounge and 14 rooms, is available for groups of friends.
