The Macallan, the world’s most admired single malt Scotch whisky brand, has teamed up with Monarch Air Group, a leading provider of private air charter, and Golden Yacht Charters to bring consumers The Macallan Masters Journey, an exquisite taste-and-travel experience like no other.
During this tailored journey, guests travel via private jet from New York to Opa-Locka, after which they are chauffeured to a chartered yacht destined for Miami.
Based in Scotland since 1824, The Macallan Estate has a global reputation as one of the world’s finest distillers of single malt whisky, and Macallan will be even more memorable at 40,000 feet.
Called the Macallan “Rare Journey”, the experience gives connoisseurs a chance to sample some of the finest spirits from the brand as well as travelling in the most luxurious way possible – aboard a stunning private jet followed by a luxurious yacht.
Starting in New York, the journey commences aboard a privately chartered, 12-passenger Embraer Lineage 1000 jet, where guests are served a “Smoked Oak New-Fashioned” cocktail, along with canapés.
Later, they are introduced to The Macallan’s Master Series that includes The Macallan Rare Cask, The Macallan Reflexion, The Macallan No. 6, and the ultra-expensive Macallan M, collectively costing over $15,000.
On landing, guests are transferred to a luxurious yacht docked at Hallandale Beach in Florida.
Onboard the luxury yacht, guests are invited to sample the “Mac & Cheese” – a fine group of whiskies—Double Cask 12 Years Old, Sherry Oak 12 Years Old, and Triple Cask Matured 15 Years Old, served alongside specially sourced local cheese.
Starting at just $46,000, the experience is fully customizable – choose the number of fellow travelers, the size of the jet or yacht, how many whiskies to taste onboard, the menu for your private dinner – allowing guests to make the journey exclusively their own.
