For the longest time, London has been the center of elite social life. Today, however, New York is also seeing a significant increase in the number of private members-only social clubs.
Here are the most exclusive private members’ clubs in New York where you can socialize the posh way:
Casa Cipriani
The Cipriani empire is expanding by the day, and Casa Cipriani is the latest family member. Casa Cipriani is a private social club that offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and New York Harbor. It opened its doors in September 2021 in the Battery Maritime Building, a lavish 1906 Beaux-Arts structure.

Unlike others of its kind, Casa Cipriani is all about relaxing and socializing off-duty instead of networking and working. The property boasts 47 suites and rooms, a fitness center, and a spa.
Fasano Fifth Avenue
The members-only club Fasano Fifth Avenue is made especially for non-New York City residents who wish to stay in an area that is right for them during their visit.
Fasano Fifth Avenue is in a townhouse that is already 143 years old. It is the first property in the United States for Fasano, the sexy luxury hotel brand from Brazil. Unlike the rest of the 5-star properties, Fasano Fifth Avenue doesn’t open its doors to the public.

Instead, a private club runs it, with full apartments, a gym, suites, a bar, and a sauna available for reservation among members. There are also event spaces.
Membership is only by invitation from the rest of the members, with the approval of the club’s board.
NeueHouse
NeueHouse, despite its name, is not new to New York City. Its doors opened for the first time back in 2013 as a more exclusive and chic co-working space for people who don’t want to perish at their office desks. Today, Neuehouse feels hot and new all over again as it made it through the pandemic and joined forces with Fotografiska.

It is mainly because of the launch of Chapel Bar, its members-only watering hole. It launched in September 2021 in the revamped 19th-century church right beside the Fotografiska photography museum.
This place almost instantly became the go-to spot among the fashion crowd. It hosted Met Ball parties as well as a few events throughout New York Fashion Week. The club intends to stake a claim to the creative class’s influencers.
SoHo House
No introduction is necessary for SoHo House, the ultimate magnet for all young entrepreneurial creatives as well as their friends.

Crowds are still attracted to the original clubhouse located in the Meatpacking District. The SoHo brand is now a global hospitality brand with clubhouses located across the globe.
Zero Bond
Zero Bond Social Club is located on NoHo’s Zero Bond Street, as the name suggests. Zero Bond is a private club in NYC right now that recently opened in October 2020, with Mayor Eric Adams giving it a shout-out frequently.

Many famous names have been spotted here, and some of the wealthiest and best-connected people even claim that they never managed to set foot in the place.
