DAY 1 — Reykjavik, the nucleus of Iceland’s rich culture and arts scene.
DAY 2 — Start the day by taking a relaxing bath a the Sky Lagoon, a thermal spa only a few minutes from downtown Reykjavik. In the afternoon enjoy an unforgettable helicopter ride over the diverse and picturesque landscape of Iceland.
DAY 3 — Morning: explore a magnificent lava tunnel in Raufarholshellir Cave which is one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland. Afternoon: Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the location of the world’s first parliament.
DAY 4 — The Golden Circle encompasses many of Iceland’s most famous landmarks. Thingvellir National Park, Geysir and Gullfoss. Geysir is a geothermal area where Strokkur “the butter churn” erupts about every 4-8 minutes. Gullfoss waterfall is an iconic waterfall in Hvítá river which is fed by Iceland ́s second biggest glacier, Langjökull. On a sunny day shimmering rainbow can be seen over the falls.
A super 4×4 jeep will take you to Langjökull Glacier, where you will will experience a snowmobiling tour. Snowmobiling on top of the glacier is an extraordinary experience. This snowmobile tour is the perfect length of time for first-time riders and individuals looking for a scenic, fun ride, exploring and experiencing the wilderness the glacier.
DAY 5 — The south coast of Iceland has so much to offer the black beaches, waterfalls. Why not try out the glacier hike at Sólheimajökull glacier in the afternoon?
DAY 6 — Visit Katla Ice Cave which brings you on an excursion through 800 year old ice caves, blue glaciers, black sand beaches and more. Myrdalsjokull Glacier is one of the best-known in Iceland, from which the alluring Kötlujökull Glacier originates. Kötlujökull is named after the robust Volcano Katla, which is covered by the glacier. As the enormous mass of ice has been slowly crawling down from the glacier, it creates some of the most impressive natural ice caves in Iceland. Visit Reynisfjara Black Beach and its picturesque basalt column by the Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 7 — Start the day early by driving to the mountain area at Reykjanes peninsula. Enjoy a fun and exciting ATV tour with a panorama landscape views over the historic lava fields. After the tour, drive towards the Blue lagoon where you will be spending your last night, at the beautiful Retreat hotel.
DAY 8 — Private transfer to the airport
