Royal Families Around the World

The mere mention of royalty has a unique ring to it that instantly sparks curiosity. What does it feel like to be part of the royal family? How do they live their lives in their sprawling palaces? Do they even reside in palaces in the first place?

Royal family is the term that pertains to the immediate family of monarchs, typically a king or a queen leading the country in a monarchy government. There are royal families in monarchy countries, and by tradition, they include the ruling monarch and their spouse, their children, grandchildren, living parents if there are any, their siblings, and paternal cousins.

All of the immediate family members’ spouses are also part of the royal family. Aside from this, uncles, aunts, great-grandchildren, and the rest of the descendants might be considered members of the royal family as well.
