In May 2023, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced its partnership with NEOM to develop a resort on Sindalah Island. The upcoming property is set to include:
- 225 rooms and suites
- 52 luxury villas, many with private pools and direct beach access
- A full-service spa, health and wellness center
- Indoor and outdoor restaurants and lounges
- Meeting and event spaces
- Direct access to the marina and yacht club
The architecture and interior design are being overseen by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, known for their work in yacht and resort design.
This announcement marks one of the first concrete steps toward establishing a permanent luxury hospitality presence on the island. Although no formal opening date has been confirmed, construction is reported to be progressing.
Culinary and Recreational Infrastructure
Sindalah’s development plans include a diverse culinary program, with NEOM officials stating that the island will eventually offer 38 food and beverage outlets. These will range from fine dining to beachside venues, reflecting both global trends and local flavors.

Opening Timeline and Current Status
Although Sindalah hosted an official “grand opening” ceremony in October 2024, complete with a flotilla of yachts and private guests, the island has not yet fully opened to the public as of September 2025.
