Mahé is home to the country’s capital, Victoria, and to the largest selection of resorts and activities, from the hiking possibilities across the rugged interior of Morne Seychellois National Park to diving pristine sites and snorkelling within sight of whale sharks in or just beyond the glorious bays caressed by gorgeously multihued waters. Eden Bleu Hotel is situated on Eden Island, an artificial island that opened to the public in 2012, consisting of this single luxury hotel, a marina and shopping centre full of boutiques and restaurants. Located just off the east coast of Mahé, it is an ideal location for travellers keen on island-hopping or for business meetings and conferences.

Eden Bleu is designed like a towering plantation house, with a red-pitched roof, high breezy halls and acres of glass framing views of blue ocean, palms and a web of yacht masts.
Interiors, designed by South African Paolo Viotts, are light and bright, characterised by huge open-plan spaces merging lounges, a bar and dining room, and mixing blond oak with stylish woven furniture and punchy textiles in turquoise and lemon. The centrepiece is undoubtedly the swimming pool, which sits on a deck fronting the marina, surrounded by two-person sunbeds.
